We have an opportunity for an Associate Solicitor between 0-4 years post qualification to join our Swansea office in our thriving Commercial Litigation team. The dynamic team provide legal advice to commercial and major institutional clients based locally, nationally and internationally.
The role will involve effectively managing a varied caseload including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, recoveries work, acting for fixed charge receivers, insolvency matters, sports law and general civil litigation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload and must be able to show experience of dealing with contentious work. The nature of this role will ideally suit a candidate with a confident personality who is comfortable with direct client contact.
The main responsibilities of the role will involve:
· Effectively managing a caseload involving a range of commercial litigation work.
· Working independently and collaboratively with a team of solicitors, legal assistants and secretaries, in order to achieve an excellent and effective client service.
· Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts including business development and networking activities.
The successful candidate should:
Have a foundation in commercial litigation work.
