Dutton Gregory Solicitors is seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Administrator to join our Risk and Compliance team in Chandler’s Ford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance within a leading law firm.

As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the firm’s adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards — helping to maintain the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Policy Development: Assist in developing and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Audits and Monitoring: Carry out regular audits and compliance checks to identify potential issues and ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate the firm’s operations to identify compliance risks and work collaboratively with the Risk Team to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance reports for the COLP, Risk Team, and external regulatory bodies as required.
  • Training and Guidance: Support HR in delivering compliance training, maintaining training records, and promoting awareness of regulatory requirements across the firm.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and ensure all processes are properly documented.
  • Accreditations: Support the firm’s continued accreditation for Lexcel, CQS, and Law South, including preparation for annual audits.
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance: Maintain records of claims and complaints, prepare proposal forms, and collate relevant data.
  • Lender Panel Administration: Work with the Residential Property team to manage lender panel status and user access.
  • Insurance Management: Collate data and liaise with brokers/insurers regarding Partners’ Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, Management Liability, and Cyber Insurance.

About You -

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a similar risk, compliance, or regulatory role (preferably within a legal or professional services environment).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently across all levels of the firm.
  • A proactive and methodical approach, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all areas of work.
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
