Job Description

To assist and support the Directors, Marketing Officer and Marketing Manager in the marketing activities of the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with editing and uploading content (blogs, etc.) for the firm’s website
  • Assisting with managing the firm’s social media channels
  • Assisting with the delivery of networking and training events, including pre-event planning, production of training materials, on-the-day delivery, and post-event administration
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of fundraising and PR events
  • Creating both online and offline marketing collateral using graphics software such as Adobe
    Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Creating HTML mailings and event invitations, managing responses, reminder emails, generating mailing and post-event reports using MailChimp and Eventbrite
  • Dealing with external enquiries both via telephone and face-to-face
  • Assisting with managing the marketing inbox and answering email queries both from internal and external sources
  • Managing and maintaining the firm’s stock of promotional items and printed marketing materials
  • Any other duties which from time to time are required by the firm

Job Skills Requirements

Essential:

  • Have either a HE level qualification or at least one year’s prior experience in a marketing role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be customer-focused (both external and internal customers)
  • Be forward thinking and innovative
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Whilst the team is based in Leeds, a willingness to travel to the firm’s other offices across
  • Yorkshire is essential

Desired:

  • Working towards CIM qualification
  • Experience of working in marketing in a Solicitor’s or professional services practice

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and website content management systems
  • Confident using IT software
  • Literate and numerate
  • Awareness of the legal sector is preferable
