We have a vacancy for a full time Learning and Development Administrator to join our Human Resources and Learning and Development team based in our Colchester office. The successful candidate will be required to travel to our other offices in Chelmsford and Basildon on occasion in line with training needs.

The Department

HR and L&D work  in partnership with the Firm to enhance the growth of the business whilst building a respectful, collaborative, safe and healthy culture. The team is   dedicated to outstanding client service and the desire to meet the ever changing needs of the business and its people, working as a cohesive team at all times.


The Role

You will join the HR & L&D team in the Colchester office.  The position is full-time and, subject to work commitments, there will be the opportunity for some working from home, if desired, in line with the Firm’s working from home guidelines.


As the Learning and Development Administrator you will support the Learning and Development Manager in providing a broad range of training, development and learning opportunities for our employees.


Your excellent administrative and project management skills, coupled with your interest in IT software, will ensure you are able to support and manage the organisation of all training and e-learning programmes.


You will:

  • Ensure all arrangements and planning are in place to ensure the right people attend the right training or event at the right time.
  • Process invoices and tracking other costs.
  • Set up delegates on training courses, including scheduling follow ups and obtaining feedback.
  • Prepare induction packs and booking induction training.
  • Help to create training materials, e-learning and update the intranet page.
  • Manage queries and emails through the Learning and Development inbox.
  • Gather and report on feedback
  • Maintain training records


The Candidate

Previous  administrative experience  would be advantageous but is not essential but you must be  highly organised with excellent communication skills.


You will have a good standard of education and a genuine desire to learn and develop. You will have excellent prioritisation skills, with the ability to look ahead and multitask.
