Job Description
We have a vacancy for a conveyancer to join our busy Residential Property Department.
About you
You’ll have over four years' PQE as a solicitor. You will be positive, professional, customer focused and a great team player.
Our Residential Property department provide advice to clients in the areas of:
- Freehold and leasehold sale and purchase
- Mortgages and re-mortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Equity release
- Leasehold extension work
- Enfranchisement
- Compulsory purchasing and compensation
- Self-build projects
- Site acquisitions for property developers and plot sales
- Option agreements
- Overage agreements
- Auction sales
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Interviewing clients to take instructions on the work listed above.
- Advising clients and discussing plans and progress.
- Providing relevant documents.
- Keeping client and matter files in good order and ensuring that all information is recorded thoroughly and accurately.
- Dealing with clients’ queries and problems promptly and efficiently, either face-to-face or on the telephone.
- Complying with quality standards set and with departmental procedures, when handling all matters.
- Supporting the growth of the department by being actively involved with business development.
