Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a diligent, confident, self-motivated, newly or recently qualified solicitor to join our busy Property Litigation Department. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running with varied caseload across the Property Litigation spectrum. They must have excellent technical knowledge commensurate to their experience, as well as a pro-active approach learning and development. Client care is a priority of DKLM, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide a top-quality service to the client. They will be keen to progress and grow within the department. Career development opportunities are available to the right candidate.

We are looking for someone to assist and help the Partner so the ability to work independently within the protocols of the firm / SRA is vital. We are open to candidates to work in either our London or Manchester office.

 Essential Experience

  • Landlord and Tenant work- service of section 8 and section 21 notice and experience in running possession proceedings;
  • Service charge and leasehold disputes;
  • Experience in dealing with notices and claims under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954;
  • Property Disrepair;
  • Commercial Rent Arrears;

 Preferred Experience

  • Deposit Protection Claims;
  • Lease Extensions;
  • Assistance with residential and commercial forfeiture claims;
  • Dilapidations.
