Private Client Senior Solicitor - Pocklington office

Our Private Client team are looking for a Solicitor to join them to play an important role in the supporting and developing the department along with managing their own  varied and interesting caseload of Private Client work.

The team is one of the largest in the region and we cover all types of Private Client work – our clients include High Net Worth individuals and we pride ourselves on giving high quality advice. A significant proportion of our caseload is through repeat business and personal recommendation.

We would love to hear from you if you have a solid background in Private Client, ideally with exposure to more complex caseloads. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team that delivers a first class client service and promotes a collaborative and supportive style of working. What the role will involve:

You can really make the role your own but will have the opportunity to work on a range of matters including:

• Estate planning
• Drafting wills
• Administration of trusts
• Non-contentious probate and administration
• Lasting and enduring powers of attorneys
• Inheritance Act Claims

What we are looking for:

We need someone who will fit in quickly with our team and develop a great relationship with our clients. Our ideal candidate will have:

• A good range of solid Private Client experience (ideally 6  years PQE)
• A positive, commercial approach to delivering legal advice
• The ability to develop a good rapport with clients
• Superb levels of client care
• Experience in successful Business Development and Marketing initiatives
