Residential Property Litigation Solicitor

Clifton Ingram LLP is seeking an experienced and proactive Litigation Solicitor (5+ years PQE) to join our growing team based in Farnham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator with a residential property bias, particularly in possession proceedings and rent arrears recovery, to take on a varied and rewarding caseload.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of civil litigation matters with a strong emphasis on residential landlord and tenant disputes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own caseload of litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
• Advising clients on possession claims, including accelerated and standard procedures
• Handling rent arrears recovery, including enforcement action
• Dealing with general residential property disputes, including tenancy breaches and property-related claims
• Representing clients in hearings where appropriate or instructing counsel
• Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• 5+ years’ PQE as a qualified Solicitor (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in litigation with a residential property focus
• Proven track record in possession proceedings and rent arrears work
• Excellent case management and organisational skills
• Strong advocacy and client care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to undertake supervisory responsibilities, including supporting and overseeing paralegals where appropriate
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
