Corporate and Commercial Associate Solicitor

Job Description

 We are seeking to recruit a supportive, pragmatic and approachable Associate Solicitor between 0-3 years post qualification experience to join our busy and well regarded Corporate & Commercial team.

The role will involve effectively managing a broad range of both corporate and commercial work including corporate transactions, commercial contracts, shareholder and partnership arrangements, debt/equity funding. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload and must be able to show experience of dealing with corporate and commercial work. The nature of this role will ideally suit a candidate with a confident personality who is comfortable with direct client contact.

About the Role

Working alongside experienced specialists, you will:

·         Effectively manage a caseload involving a range of corporate and commercial work

·         Work collaboratively with a team of solicitors and legal assistants in order to achieve an excellent and effective client service

·         Build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts including business development and networking activities

·         Act as an integral part of the team and contribute to continued growth and success.

About You

We would love to hear from candidates who:

  • Are a qualified Solicitor with 0–3 years PQE

·         Have experience in corporate and commercial work gained through training contracts, previous roles or work placements

·         Possess strong communication and client care skills

·         Are organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities

·         Demonstrate attention to detail and excellent drafting abilities
