Property Litigation Solicitor – Farnham

The Role

Clifton Ingram LLP is seeking an ambitious and proactive Property Litigation Solicitor to join our growing team. Based in our Farnham office, this is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with between 1-3 years' PQE who is looking to build their career within a supportive and experienced team.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload under supervision, handling a broad range of property litigation matters from initial enquiry through to conclusion. The role will involve regular client contact, business development opportunities, and the chance to develop expertise in both commercial and residential property disputes.

Experience in commercial property law is essential. Residential property experience would be advantageous but is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of property litigation matters under appropriate supervision
• Handling files from initial enquiry and client onboarding through to completion
• Advising clients on a broad range of property disputes
• Drafting correspondence, court documents, pleadings, witness statements and applications
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, Counsel, experts, courts and other third parties
• Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies
• Attending hearings, mediations and client meetings as required
• Assisting with business development activities and helping to grow the department's profile
• Building strong relationships with clients and delivering a high standard of client care

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE
• Have experience handling property litigation matters
• Be keen to take ownership of their work rather than waiting to be directed
• Possess a strong understanding of commercial property law and property-related disputes
• Have experience managing files from initial instruction through to conclusion
• Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
• Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Be proactive, motivated and capable of working on their own initiative
• Have the drive and ambition to develop their practice and establish themselves within the local market
• Residential property experience would be beneficial but is not essential
